Velvac mirrors with cameras feature OE fit and styling and provide outstanding visibility of passing lanes and blind spots around the vehicle, making them the industry standard for wide body cutaway van, RV's, and truck cab chassis applications. These mirrors mount directly to the OE sail area on the door for clean and easy installation. The modular design allows a single mirror style to be used across multiple van and truck platforms, making them perfect for all truck applications. A fold-away feature allows mirrors to fold forward and back for easy vehicle storage and protection against impact.

The Camera

Velvac mirror cameras are prepositoned providing even greater coverage of the blind spot areas around vehicle. The camera's image is reversed to provide a picture in the same orientation as the mirror image for seamless observation of blind spots and passing lanes. They have greater image definition, truer colors due to CMOS technology allowing drivers to quickly indentify objects in a variety of light conditons. Systems can be designed to integrate with back-up cameras for complete vehicle blind spot coverage.

Applications

Model 2020 and 2020XG mirrors with camera are designed specifically for wide body applications such as high cube cutaway vans, C-Class RV's and ambulances. The fixed length arms are designed to position the mirror beyond the body providing the driver with an unobstructed view of blind spots and passing lanes around the vehicle. These versatile mirrors are available in several body widths and finishes as well as manual or heated remote glass.

• Mirrors are available for 96", and 102" wide bodies
• Die cast arms and bases are e-coated and powder coated for corrosion resistance
• Available in black, white and black base/arm with chrome head
• Two mirror head options:
• Standard head with 57 square inches of flat glass and a lower wedge convex mirror
• Deluxe head with 62 sq. inches of flat glass and 30 sq. inches of full width lower convex glass at a ROC of 12".
