Most Curb Guards wear out too fast due to a lack of heavy-duty material on the edges (the surface where the curb meets your curb guard). Our Cast Iron Curb Guard has a 3" thick edge, providing you with the longest life of any other curb guard we offer. In addition, our Cast Iron Curb Guards are made with Ni-Hard Cast Iron. Ni-Hard is a type of white cast iron alloyed with nickel and chromium. Ni-Hard Cast Iron is known for its extraordinary hardness, wear resistance and strength.
